I like Pasolini, but I have deliberately avoided his last film, even if many people consider it a work of high art. I’m impressed that you did see it. I own a copy. I’ve just never played it.
"Watch the very early work of a gritty director who is also a nut," or "watch the very early work of a gritty director, and nut with absolute clarity"?
Probably the most solid Unstreamable yet, for my taste. Watched Salo years ago and didn't find it as bad as everybody says. Really need to revisit GPK.
I miss the days of copy editors who would even check photo captions.
@1 Me too.
Check out irreversible I think it's a French film. Probably worth reviewing for unstreamable

Saw Apocalyptic streaming somehow or other awhile back.
The historical inaccuracies were annoying, the assumption that the Conquistadors were God's revenge on the Aztec infuriating.
But it kinda works as a thriller chase movie.

Holy crap I never realized Pasolini directed Salo, probably because my interest in Pasolini phase and my willing to watch Salo phase didn't overlap.
