This could be a good idea, but I wonder how many of those prescription drug overdoses involved drugs prescribed to that individual? Either way, I won't argue a less-than-perfect rule shouldn't be implemented.

My dad had a high dose opioid prescription to alleviate the pain of 2 back surgeries caused by 27 years of fighting fires. He died from an overdose near the door, probably recognizing that he had taken too much. I think this is a good idea.
