Social distancing is the only way to stop the coronavirus. We must start immediately.

It took Italy 10 days to go from 1,000 cases to 10,000. This thing is growing exponentially everywhere that isn't taking drastic social distancing measures (far more drastic than Seattle's current or proposed measures). https://twitter.com/MarkJHandley/status/1237119688578138112/photo/1
At those rates, 1,000 cases in Washington State now would mean 100,000 cases in just 20 days. Why do epidemiologists think the spread will be slower in Washington than in Italy?
We need to socially distance now.
