Didn't even read it when it arrived in the mail yesterday, threw it right in the trash.

2

@1 - I suggest digging it out of the trash and putting it into the recycle bin.

3

Stupid narcassistic fuck puts his name on the virus. Genius branding.

4

@2 it went in the recycling bin, thanks. this is not a matter of semantics.

He says the social distancing will end soon for absolutely no other reason than he knows it's what people want to hear and that it'll make people like him. He reminds me very much of an out-of-shape,unemployed loser hanging at the bar late night and trying to get a lady to go home with him by saying whatever makes him sound desirable, regardless of whether there's any truth to it or the non-existent chance that it'll hold up upon any manner of scrutiny the next day.

"Yeah, I'm actually an executive manager who makes six figures, works out regularly, and has a dong that dangles to the floor!" Whatever, ass.

And it doesn't really even matter, because with each passing day and at the next briefing, he'll just reprise the dance and say whatever random self-serving, ignorantly optimistic and jingoistic nonsense he thinks people want to hear that day.

And he's been doing it for years too! There's dozens of examples just from his campaign stump speeches....The asinine healthcare "strategy," wherein he was gonna be able to implement a low cost plan that'd cover absolutely everyone, including all pre-existing conditions by way of a vast network of well compensated providers, because why not!?! And of course Mexico's gonna pay for the wall, because why wouldn't they?!?

What an ass.

@5 >>If Trump insists on his moronic faux "return to economic normality" by Easter, and many states and their MAGA fucksticks dutifully obey, then we will be right back where we are now by Summer/Fall.

No, we will be much, much worse. This thing is just getting started. No country has tried what Trump is proposing, although the U. K. considered it. There is a great article by The Atlantic that goes into the various scenarios: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/03/how-will-coronavirus-end/608719/. It lists a worse case scenario (if the virus is left unchecked):

[By the end of the summer, the pandemic will have directly killed 2.2 million Americans, notwithstanding those who will indirectly die as hospitals are unable to care for the usual slew of heart attacks, strokes, and car accidents. ]

Of course that isn't likely to happen. Various areas will react, even if they react too late. They will take desperate measures (as Italy has) which include locking everything down. That is probably what you are referring to, but it will likely be more restrictive, and the situation will be much worse.

@6 -- His statements remind me of those said by U. S. officials about the Vietnam War. Except in this case he is completely disregarding expert opinion, and there is no confusion as to what the situation really is. He isn't taking the most optimistic views from (often lying) military officials, he is just making shit up.

9

Gawd Eli; what a whiny buttsore nothing of a post.
You people really shouldn't let Our President get under your skin so much.
It isn't healthy.

If the CDC put this out, there's a good chance Hair Furor wasn't involved in the first place. Why they put his name on it is baffling, though.

11

I will follow President Trump's Coronavirus Guidelines so that I don't die from President Trump's Coronavirus. Let's all stay safe from President Trump's Coronavirus.

13

The hypocrisy of people with their heads up Trump's ass is stunning.

The lack of an OMB or GPO number makes this almost look like a campaign mailer. How sure are we this was sanctioned by the government? The White House has said it was, but that's a dubious source.
