The thing nobody wants to tell you about testing is that the BEST tests have a 0.5% false positive or false negative result.

And the tests we're rolling out in the US have up to a 10% false positive.

Think about Seattle. No problem, lots of infected people. 10% sounds reasonable.

What about the rest of the state? Maybe they have a 10% infected rate. So 10% false positive means 20%. But if it's false negative it means 0% positive could actually be 10% infected.

The virus is plenty lethal. In fact let’s use the 60% asymptomatic number from The Big Stick. The 3/4 mil with the virus now would be 40% of those that were infected at some point. Let’s be generous and say 3 mil asymptotic plus a mil for current cases just to keep the math a round number as I want to make it as easy as possible for the MAGAs to follow along.

That means that right now 4 million have it. At the current rate ASSuming a generously padded 4 mil cases it’s about 12 times deadlier than the flu. In reality it’s probably closer to 20 times more deadly than the flu using current confirmed and the hypothetical 60%. And it ain’t all old fat people dying from it.

I'd play Whack-a-Troll more often, but so many of them, like @110, @112, @116 and others (most likely the same solitary commenter using multiple sign in names) are already dying of TRUMPVID-19. They appear to be real gluttons for punishment. Their ignorance is abysmal.
