The young Mallard most likely was really hungry, looking for food, and thus willing to forage despite the nasty odor of human waste and excrement in or near a filthy public restroom.

@5: The little duck--and urban wildlife are all among us, folks. I keep waiting to see a young buck with earbuds, a Smartphone, and a backpack enrolled at WWU or WCC.
