I swear, the DNC are determined to snatch defeat from the gaping jaws of Victory once again.

So the story here is that someone in a brainstorming session came up with a bad idea, and the Biden Campaign is not going to do the bad idea? Therefore Democrats stupid? It sounds to me like they are not going to do the bad idea. So why are you criticizing the Biden Campaign as if they are going to do the bad idea?

@3, @4 -- Yep. These are the dog days of the campaign. It happens every time. The primaries are over, yet it is still a while before the general election. The press isn't interested, and most stories will die long before you get to November.

Then, to top it all off, you have a major pandemic. This not only kills traditional campaigning (Biden isn't shaking hands in Michigan) but it also means that the press is really not interested. Oh, they will cover Trump -- he is the president, after all, and has real power, unlike Biden. But Biden could paint his face, and appear naked in an interview, and it would only be a small story -- simply because there are more important things to worry about right now.
