That is not Henry Winkler. It is New York Police Benevolent Association president Patrick Lynch. Yes, that's his real name.

3

Possession is 9/10ths of the law, SPD. Maybe have a bake sale idk

4

CHAZ is all good fun. Until it goes all Lord of the Flies. We'll see.

5

oh look it's a prediction from one of the guys who's been wrong about every prediction he's made so far let's all give this one lots of careful consideration and attention

6

The confederacy was a terrorist group that killed American citizens and waged war against the United States. Makes sense rednecks would support it.

7

The Autonomous Zone belongs to those with the wit and alacrity to seize it.

8

@1 you are right! Damn!

“What the US must realize, and prepare for, is that Trump is the kind of scoundrel who will encourage his supporters to die for him.’

But a teeny price to Pay to re-elect/renew an illegitimate Fake ‘prez’s’ Occupation of the WH. I shudder to see Washington and Lincoln’s portraits in the backgrounds. I bet they’d Shudder too, if they only could…

“This is why he is so desperate to get the [Nuremberg] rallies up and running.”

Gonna inflict his whole base – that’s a Big Gamble

“He needs to pump and pump this message (die for me if the wors[t] happens) to the white base of the GOP.”

Finally. Something/one
they can all Believe in
and Die for like MEN.*

Plus, own the Libs! A twofr!

*that’s some Serious Idolatry

Hey – they fire all the Bad Cops, I know someone, just Itchin’ to re-hire them and The Dirtier the Better. 'Specially if they look good in brown.

He’s gonna hafta start a War on some off-Whites somewhere – will it be right here in The Homeland? They'll certainlhy have no shortage of bullets.

Buckle. up.

This from the NYT: "President Trump rejected a proposal to rename military bases named after Confederate generals. By dismissing an idea under consideration by the Pentagon, the president positioned himself firmly against the movement to remove racist symbols and combat racism touched off by George Floyd’s death."

You could set your watch by trumpfy's Racism
cum Intent on destroying these (formerly) United States.
He'll do ANY thing to get re-elected. Hell Bent for Re-Election
they usta call it... He and his minions are gonna make us ALL Pay.

27% seems like a low number, I mean that's good, why would an evangelical vote for an apostate* ? but still a low number, I wonder who was polled?
* not quite the right word I know, one can't renounce something one never had, but "heretic" sounded inflammatory, so I hesitated to use it, but it may be more accurate and I guess I did use it after all.😊

I looked at a few online dictionary definitions of "faith" and the first definition is generally a version of: "complete trust or confidence in someone or something."
I have no doubt that Trump has confidence in Trump, I also have no doubt that one would have to be pretty stupid to have complete confidence in Trump, but there is no contradiction there so that's fine.
It seems most definitions put the God thing second or third, so Trump handling a Bible as if he was bewildered by it and/or afraid of it does not mean he is not a "person of faith"
And, you know, the phrase "bad faith" [intent to deceive.] does contain the word "faith".

15

Fuck the death penalty.

16

I can't believe that people are taking this Free Capitol Hill thing seriously. No way in hell that the City gives up control over an enclave like that for more than a couple of days. It's a nice publicity stunt for Sawant (which is, I guess, the entire point of her existence), but that's about it. First time there is a fire or a serious crime in there, SFD/SPD will be right back in and they won't be asking permission from whoever the Peoples' Commissars are.

17

"Welcome to CHAZ. Papers please."

18

@6 Congratulations, you're why Trump won.

Not you personally, of course. But the sneering contempt for poor and working class white rural Americans that you represent.

Trump doesn't actually give a shit about them. But he's at least able to pretend, sometimes. A lot of people are desperate to put their faith in someone that they'll seize on that, and blind themselves to the contradictions and the moments when the mask slips. That's on them, of course.

But for fuck's sake, man, you are not helping.

20

@12 I'm not saying Trump isn't a racist, but perhaps there might be another reason he wants traitors to be honored? Not that he'd be consciously aware of it, but he might have a "feeling" (he has the best feelings) that disparaging traitors might not be in his best interest in the long run. I mean Trump may have made the US the laughing stock of the world, but those other guys actually waged war on the USA and they have military bases named after them!
But perhaps Trump is being short sighted, Washington owned slaves, "Trump Tower" might be good name for that obelisk on the National Mall? Somebody should suggest that to him, I'm sure it would alienate at least a few people if he started saying that out loud. But if "people said" I'm not sure he could resist repeating it.

23

@18: You can disregard @19. He's incapable of rational discource and was previously banned.

24

I mean if you are really into Southern Culture you should fly an actual official flag of the confederate. The final official flag was solid white with no design.

I love infrastructure week.

25

@21: Renaming Washington State is one that I agree with. It was unnecessary to name our state after our first president was already honored with our nation's capitol city.

It should be "Cascadia" or some other native name.

27

No Backsies.
No Givebacks.

Tell her to go help Trump design S.S. uniforms

28

@26: Well, it also sparkles paired with a popular and effective dishwasher detergent.

30

29
not anymore

32

@21 - with respect to the Democratic Party, the madness ended when LBJ came out for civil rights, leading the Klansmen and assorted racist scumbags to become Republicans (which they remain to this day).

33

@21:

Go read up on Goldwater and Nixon's "Southern Strategy" then get back to us with a report on how the GOP deliberately - and successfully - courted white southern racists to come over to their side more than a half-century ago.

@26:

We appreciate your concern - and in that spirit I suggest we rename it Təˡqʷuʔbəʔ instead.
