It doesn't matter if they do all of these things, people who export Seattle earnings to their personal use in the suburbs will still whine about it.

@1:

We'll list this as #3,724 of your many, many off-base "predictions" that have not nor ever will come to pass...

There is no such thing as a "progressive payroll tax."

Right the "Amazon Tax" is dead except of course the JumpStart Seattle proposal targets Amazon much more specifically (https://sccinsight.com/2020/06/16/mosqueda-introduces-her-own-amazon-tax-proposal). Morales has already stated she is going to submit amendments so it can never be sunset and to increase the amount back to $500M so it's basically her and Sawant's proposal by another name. What's actually more interesting to me is the spending plan is dedicated to all new programs so it does nothing to fill the looming shortfalls the city will have in the budget from taking in less sales taxes this year and next. Wonder how they will make that amount up....let me guess more regressive taxes.

@1: Hmm. 0 for 3,724 are you? Seriously, quit while you're 344 years behind, Doofy.
That bald spot hiding under your MAGA cap must really be spreading. How many rotten teeth have you got? Lessee---you've got six cars in your driveway and---TWO of 'em actually run....

@9 a paycheck cut, if it's in the form of a state income tax, is exactly what you all need! And it would actually be PROGRESSIVE. But you're a city full of performative d-bags and you'll never actually work for it.
