The 19th LD has been slowly shifting Red for a while now. The 10th and 17th LDs were likely toss-up and potential pick-ups for Ds - but I suspect that Defund the Police (a horrible slogan that implies an absolutist extreme) probably tipped the scales. Once again, it was too easy for Rs to run against Seattle...

@2 Blackcap: Agreed and seconded! Woo-hoo, Alicia Rule!! I'm fortunate to live and vote in the more Democratic-leaning 40th District. This is good news, indeed. Adios, LuAnne van Wuerven, and good riddance! Now if the 42nd District could officially boot fossil fuel industry coddling "Ambassador of Cambodia", Thug Ericksen, out of the Washington State Senate, too...
