Today in OR it was announced that they expect to vaccinate 10,000 people a day when the vaccines become available. With a population just over 4 million that means it will be October 2021 until all Oregonians are vaccinated.

Why people refuse to just stay the fuck home is beyond me. We've already seen what traveling for Thanksgiving did. People really have a death wish. Or they are homicidal. Or both. Just stay home. This country's obsession with freedumb and stupid holidays is truly incomprehensible. Do you enjoy life? Do you want your loved ones to enjoy their lives long after December 2020 and even December 2021 are over? IF everyone in this country gets vaccinated (that can get vaccinated as anyone under the age of 16 is not going to be vaccinated with the current vaccines because they are not approved for children), it will take until the end of next year to do that - and that's with an aggressive daily schedule of vaccination, 100% compliance, especially with people returning for the second shot, and there being enough vaccinations available to do it).
