It's down to 24,000 now. Our power has been on all through it, but West Seattle, Lower Rainier Valley, Burien and Lake Forest Park really took it in the shorts.

Even a councilmember lost power!! Quelle horreur...

FWIW it always used to be, whenever it rained, the buses all stopped running.
I can't count the number of days I had to walk home from work, 6 hours, in the rain. ( Or snow. )

Now, of course, 60 percent of Metro routes inside the city limits are all cancelled, anyway. So it doesn't matter if it's raining or not. The bus trip that used to take 25 minutes now takes two-and-a-half hours. Plus another 45 minutes to walk to the nearest bus stop. ( Even on a good day. )

One of the happiest days of my life, was when I started a job in the suburbs. Free parking. No hassles. And on a snow day, the drive takes 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

The state DOT motto is "Expect Delays".
The Metro motto is "Bus Stop Cancelled".
