In case you haven't heard, the Sundance Film Festival kicks off virtually this Thursday, and we're especially excited about it here in Seattle because Northwest Film Forum is an official partner. As the week goes on, there will be daily film reviews here on Slog, but to give you a taste, we've rounded up all the films we're looking forward to on this page—including California-set teen film First Date, Philippe Lacôte’s Night of the Kings, and an adaptation of Nella Larsen's Passing starring Tessa Thompson that is, unfortunately, sold out. We'll update it as reviews come in, so make sure to bookmark it!
