The COVID relief bill and the minimum wage bill actually have strong bipartisan support, if you go by the national polls. Just it's not bipartisan by current Republican senators and representatives, which is a politically foolish position to take.

I gotta say those cartoons are fucked up. I had seen the WWII ones but just assumed Seuss was jumping on the hate-the-enemy bandwagon. No idea he was a full-on racist. This is hard to reconcile with the kids' books. My head may explode.
