I was lucky enough to visit the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam — while very high! — and highly recommend it. They have 200 of Van Gogh's 900 paintings, and in person they're nothing like the ubiquitous college posters. Van Gogh's paintings have a near-3D vividness that is just stunning.
