In the last several years the friendly stranger has not been as friendly. Personally, I think The Stranger has taken on a hostile tone. Being hostile with everyone will push friends away while at the same time attracting enemies.
Thanks Jasmyne for this column, it's always a good read. @ #2, agree, except being hostile is basically the rage now anyways. so eh, i get it.
