So I was an onlooker to this “drama.” There are several “reopen schools” groups on Facebook so it’s easy to try to lump them together. The one in question consistently tried to moderate fairly and keep teachers as an important part of the discussion. I read none of the other groups “lazy-ass teacher” comments at this group.

Also, there’s a third candidate in this primary, Laura Marie Rivera. She got the Times’ endorsement. That The Stranger doesn’t like the Times should not matter if the goal is to inform. Not pot stir.
