Terrible loss for our little neighborhood down here in Lesser Seattle (Greater Seattle is the north end and the east end. The average north Seattleite cares only about themselves, and the prosperous suburbs to the north and east. No one cares about the suburbs to the south. Certainly not the white people who live in Greenlake, or Magnolia, or [insert northside neighborhood I will never, ever live in again]).

Lumberyard was a refuge for me over the winter and spring of this last terrible year. I spent countless hours reading books and drinking beers on their little patio out back. I always felt welcomed and at home. Gutted by this.
