It's so odd to me that you'd quote the criticism against Straw Dogs as being a "bad, evil, misogynist, fascist message," and use the phrase "surviving a suicide attempt" in another review, while in the next breath employing douchebag, misogynistic, sexual ownership phrasing like "beta-cuck". Perhaps your empathy only goes so far, eh Jasmyne?

I have loathed Sam Peckinpah ever since I first saw Straw Dogs. Ipromptly busted up the VHS tape. The only reason I sat through it--barely--was solely because of Dustin Hoffman and Susan George. I despised every other member of the cast.
Roast in hell, Peckinpah, and all others of your ilk. I hope you get butt-fucked for eternity in hell.

And don't anyone get me started on what those sadistic pigfuckers did to the cat as well as to Susan!
