Great to hear the new CR will have a kitchen. Barca was nice for what it was, but it was designed as an old-school cocktail lounge, not a pub or restaurant, and I can only imagine the space required a fair amount of upgrading to accommodate food service. Looking forward to checking it out - although I'm a bit sorry to see at least one of the booths by the open front windows has gone; they were always very popular, and in these semi-post-pandemic times would have been even more so.

Too bad CR never got this type of coverage when it was located outside of Capitol Hill.
