Been hit three times in several years. All three times I was at a stop sign or light - all three not my fault. Rear ended 2x, T-boned once. Two of them were due to people 'mistaking the gas for the brake'. Use my horn all the time because I'm so fucking paranoid at this point about other drivers, and no fucking way am I going to go through the whole shitstorm of suddenly having to buy a car all of a sudden - again! So yeah I use my horn a LOT any time I suspect people don't see me and are ready to do some dumbass thing - like back out of a parking spot while I am behind them... Been thinking of replacing my standard horn with a train horn.

Sen. Jerry Moran (R) of Kansas:

โ€œโ€™If you closed your eyes, you wouldn't know if it was a Republican or a Democrat,โ€™ he said. โ€˜Every part of the country has the harms that are inflicted by Facebook and Instagram.โ€™โ€

very well-put Senator.

4 and #5 y'all might want to actually look at what sawhorse revolution does... Many of their projects are tiny homes for those in need. Little FYI.

That was a bit cattier than intended. I just think they're a very cool org. and I'm happy to see the city partnering with them and hopefully that is amplifying all of their mission.
And like #8 says, Why not have both housing and cultural spaces

@2,

Don't bother with a compressed air (train) horn. Get a Cadillac dual trumpet horn installed. Sounds just like a freight train, but you don't have to fill an air compressor just to use it.

They're not too hard to find and cheap to get installed (or install it yourself if you're mechanically inclined). And they're fucking loud. Google Cadillac trumpet horn and you'll see (and hear) what I'm talking about.

@13c -- an attempt

@11 -- a Caddy Dual-trumpet?

You linked to a website with the man's name, but you still failed to spell State Representative Gerry Pollet's name correctly?

Also, the races for Senate won't be that crazy (unless we see some big changes with redistricting in Rivers' district) because there will be appointed incumbents taking over for Darnielle and Rivers before the 2022 legislative session, and the real race in the 46th will be for Rep. Valdez' House seat. You'd know that if you actually paid attention and knew anything about local and state politics.

I hope NONE of the Seattle cops get vaccinated.

I hope they ALL die from the COVID infection.

"Make Seattle Great Again".

17

@16: A rather extreme position, but shared by most of the Seattle City Council and even candidates for mayor and city attorney.
