Frank Herbert saw his world in Washington facing an environmental threat. So he imagined a way out.

Well, I've got new destination to plan a family trip to some time in the near future. What a wonderful article.

Bruh, this is not the heavy traffic thread you’re looking for.

I can't wait for the Dune movie remake. Having missed out on the abandoned Jodorowsky project and having been stuck with the Lynch production, the only direction they can go is up.

@4, I grew up with the Lynch version as well. Saw it when I was pretty young and, while I didn't really understand what was going on, I was fascinated by the visuals and overall tone. Certain aspects like the casting and production design were great, but yeah...also lots of drawbacks.

I'm looking forward to seeing this latest attempt but so far there's been something worthwhile about each Dune adaptation (or even an attempt) so I won't totally pan any of the past efforts so far.

Please wait...
