Such a crap article - the city parks dept has spent over 1,000,000 over the last year repairing the shitter and kitchen building at cal Anderson due to of vandalism and sabatoge. Look it up or interview any parks official. The entire parks dept spends 2 hrs per week in RSJI meetings talking about equity. That’s a few hundred thousand a month in lost wages there not including the high paid consultants who give the ‘classes’.

What I got out of this article is that the project got $100,000 to harvest & distribute 30,000# of fruit. Does anyone else see anything wrong with this picture? (Last week I bought the largest, best tasting grapes I've ever seen for $0.99/# RETAIL)

@2, Maybe that's why the project's fruit is somewhat expensive. Piss Pears & Skunk Funk Figs might be highly sought after delicacies.
