It looks like two solid candidates for the state Senate. If she loses, I hope she gets appointed to Valdez' seat. Better yet, run against Pollet. The district can do better.

@1 -- This is an article, not an endorsement. You know the difference right? If not, I suggest you read the Seattle Times. Every day you will find outstanding articles, and batshit crazy editorials. Its just the way they roll.

@2 - no one will be appointed to Valdez’ position - it’ll be an open seat up for election at the same time as this Senate race.

@3 Ross, I'm not a big fan of the Seattle Times, but there is no comparison between the journalistic integrity of the Seattle Times reporting and The Stranger.

The Stranger has lost the benefit of the doubt, they've lost the assumption that they should be taken seriously. There are consequences when the same staff writers dispense one asinine hot take after another, and misleading and inaccurate articles, and then try to do some actual reporting.
