All of the Republicans refusing to pass any legislation need to be held accountable just as much as Joe Manchin. It's not the Democrats doing as little as possible - it's the Republicans doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and some fucktards who told their constituents they were Democrats, ran as Democrats, got elected as Democrats, and are now fully fucking over every single person in this country who wants the Democrats to get legislation passed.

Republicans don't get a pass because Joe Manchin thinks poor people will spend their child tax credit cash on drugs or that moving away from coal energy will cost him his job. The Republicans have literally voted against EVERYTHING. They like to take credit for legislation passed by the Democrats that their constituents like, though, and have been doing so since Joe Biden was elected (if we're just going to focus on the current president and administration).

The only reason we are in the current shit show (soon to enter year three of the pandemic) is because Republicans in this country thought putting a dumb as fuck, narcissist, mass murderer who can't fucking read or speak in a position of power and rile up a base that consists of the absolute worst humans (are they humans?) in this country to do whatever he wanted them to do, including ignoring COVID-19 and attempting to overthrow the government and murder his own VP and members of Congress.

So yeah it's super fucking frustrating that the Democrats can't get shit done (the fact that this has been happening for decades now proves our government needs total reformation - the Senate should be destroyed, the House expanded, term limits put firmly in place, everyone gets the same $ amount to run a campaign, don't do your job you get fired - fuck getting voted out you get FIRED and tossed out on your ass - especially if you commit treason!!!, and anyone taking money from lobbyists, corporations, or making bank on stock trades goes to prison. Enough bullshit. We either want a country that is run by true representation and all of the money WORKING PEOPLE pay into said government to work FOR THE PEOPLE or we need to just hang it up and say it's over and let it go.

Republicans have been robbing this country blind and murdering people for at least (the very least) since Reagan entered the WH. Getting rid of every single Republican in every facet of government nationwide would do more for the people of this country than any other concrete action.

I think one of his obituaries (maybe the Washington Post) said he was in Cambodia around 2018 and subsequently praised the election there that many others would consider rigged, and then he registered with the US as a foreign agent for Cambodia. The vast majority of Americans will not have access to monoclonal treatments. And even if they did if they get infecting on the leading edge of new variant they may not work all that well. Joe rogan for sentence is pretty lucky that he got infected when he did as the monoclonal treatment for the delta variant was relatively plentiful and successful. He may not be so lucky when he inevitably gets Omicron.

The object lesson for that is author and celebrity trainer Bill Philips. The author of Body for Life. A person in the 99th percentile in terms of fitness. Philips got covid19 twice. Eschewing the vaccine based on ignorance and conspiracy he assumed his first bout would give him superior natural immunity. It did not. The 56 year old's second bout from Covid19 with Delta nearly killed him. He lost 80lbs in the ICU on and off ventilation. Last I read he was still in a wheelchair. And will likely remain on supplemental oxygen for many more months if not for life.

Phillips was not obese, with no reported serious chronic problems. Was in better shape than 99% of Americans. Survived Covid19 once with no issues. Believed nonsense about the disease. Got it again unvaccinated and his life as a physical paragon is pretty much ruined and he will struggle for years to get back to baseline health.
