Are there not other images of our Governor to use? I hate to complain, but that goofy pic has a been used for every single post on Inslee. Maybe it's an homage to Lester.
Curious what the deal is with Pierce County. For months now, just about every time I check, their infection rate is roughly double that of King and Snohomish (which seem to track each other pretty closely). Now Pierce is still rated high-risk under the new metric while the rest of the metro is low. Is it the poverty rate, politics, military presence, what? Or is the health department there just more vigilant in reporting cases? Could be a story angle.
Many people will still have to mask up, either for work or health reasons.
And this isn't for two weeks, either.
Good. Trust the science, Jay.

Today's numbers from the NYT covid map: King County 14 cases per 100k; Snohomish 19; Kitsap 14; Pierce 75(!) This is not an anomalous disparity.
I guess that means the pandemic is over. Time to start spitting in each other's mouths again, everyone!
