“… social-emotional learning of any kind is bad because it will ‘rewire’ students' behavior ‘according to the dictates of left-wing ideology.’”

I don't remember emotion figuring into any equations in my math training.

The top 10 countries for math scores for 15 year-olds are:
Singapore
Hong Kong
Macao
Taiwan
Japan
South Korea
Switzerland
Estonia
Canada
The Netherlands

Whatever those countries are doing, we should be doing. And we should probably stop doing whatever we are doing.

that's prolly cause it was too Hard
to carve into those Stone tablets st2

fear of the Maths and if
overcoming that thru

@3 There’s nothing innate about math anxiety.
It’s a learned behavior.

People who are afraid of math are afraid of math because they were told to be.

Just teach math math and leave the emotional learning on the playground.

You never hear of spelling anxiety, or vocabulary anxiety. We need to stop teaching kids to be afraid of math.

Washington Post used to quote Rufo a lot as a Trump whisperer. The guy has been working a PR front for 6+ years now in addition to his actual media outlet.

I definitely agree that math anxiety is a social construct.
