Crime - and the perception of crime- doesn’t just affect middle class citizens. It also affects poorer citizens , especially in poorer parts of Seattle.

Good news. But heartbreaking that one third of the council lack the moral clarity to care for the public safety of their constituents.

4

"whatever" and "I don't really care" are expressions of the unrecovered.

The council is finally seeing that their jobs are on the line with all the far left insanity. The crime rate is exploding in the city because their aren’t enough and Hannah thinks we don’t need the police. Yes… we need more cops.

Seattle cops are useless. Paying them more makes a lot of sense.

@9: But not when they arrest a drunk driver, right?

Still flogging the dead horse of "defund," Strangers?

Well, you successfully used it to terminate Nikkita Oliver's brief political career, and get Sara Nelson elected in Gonzales' place. So congratulations on those "defund" victories.

Meanwhile, that oh-so-precious two-page "report" you also can't stop flogging is just a compiled set of opinions. It contains no salary, bonus, or retention data of any kind. But it's the only document on the topic which does not completely disagree with your position, so you're stuck with it, I guess.

Get used to watching more and more of this as next year's Council elections approach.

@9

Worse than useless. Racist (Floyd protests anyone), fascist (#1 in coup attendees) and actively harmful to the community (let's murder more native American carvers). But rich, white beer lady needs her property protected.

@12: Cultivate your sulking as it's your only talent.
