Police have just arrested a suspect in this morning's fatal shooting near Franklin High School.

Around 3:00 AM, police received reports of 4-6 gunshots near Rainier Avenue South and South Byron Street. When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man laying in an alley nearby with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to Harborview, where he later died.

Police say the suspected gunman was arrested near the scene of the shooting.

Update: Police now say homicide detectives arrested two suspects, a 29-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, in South Seattle last night.
