The Seattle Times reports that the suspected cop killer has been shot:

Maurice Clemmons was shot and wounded in South Seattle and has been taken to Harborview Medical Center, according to a law enforcement source.

Clemmons was standing outside in the 4400 block of South Kenyon Street when he was confronted by officers. The source said he challenged the officers and was shot around 2:40 a.m.

He's dead, reports KIRO:

KIRO 7 has confirmed that Maurice Clemmons is dead. The suspected killer of four Lakewood police officers was shot in a confrontation with Seattle police on S. Kenyon St. in Rainier Valley around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
