We have a reading by popular urban fantasist Kim Harrison tonight, and several other events.

Jennifer Browne-Lawrence reads at Pilot Books. One Hundred Steps from Shore is Ms. Browne-Lawrence's first collection of poetry. This is part of Pilot Books' month-long Small Press Fest.

Moby and Miyun Park read at Town Hall tonight. Gristle is a book about “the hidden ramification of industrialized, farmed animal production." If you ever wanted to have Moby talk at you about the evils of corporate meat, tonight is your night to shine.

But the reading of the night is at Elliott Bay Book Company. Mark Spragg and Laura Bell both write beautifully about Wyoming; Spragg writes fiction and Bell writes nonfiction. This should be a nice, chill event to lead into your weekend.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
