Lindsay Lohan is back to having financial woes.

The troubled starlet is reportedly unable to pay her rent on time because she is "broke," TMZ.com reports.

Her landlord is said to have sent her a legal notice notifying her that she must pay her two months of late rent, or else move out. As a result, Lohan reportedly paid the $23,000 she owes.

According to the Web site, the 23-year-old actress is currently not making any income because her substance abuse problems have left her with a slim chance of finding acting work.

Is she really broke? No, she is not. Just because she ain't on the set does not mean she ain't acting a role—in this case, it is the role of the most beautiful thing the popular mind could ever imagine: a broke starlet. Who will rescue her?
