This morning on KUOW's Weekday, Steve Scher and state attorney general Rob McKenna discussed the legal precedents for releasing the signatures to Referendum 71. McKenna brought up the precedent set by the Supreme Court's ban on cameras in the courtroom during the Proposition 8 trial. Scher was confused:

Scher: Prop 8 was the immigration law?

McKenna: Prop 8 is the constitutional amendment in California banning same sex marriage.

Scher: Oh, oh, it’s that one.

McKenna: Yeah, that’s a big deal down there, as you can imagine.

They've moved on to McKenna's attack on health care reform now. Tune in if you can put up with Scher's inanity.
