Both of these reports are currently on the main page of the Vancouver Sun:

Nanaimo RCMP divers replaced members of Nanaimo Search and Rescue Monday morning to search for the remains of a Burnaby man presumed to have drowned in the Nanaimo River in a Saturday afternoon canoeing accident.

Allen Tonn of the search and rescue group said it turned the search over to police, hoping they might be able to recover the body of Chad Thornhill, 23.

And...

A 41-year-old Alberta snowmobiler is dead after being swept up in an avalanche in Bugaboo Provincial Park north of Invermere Monday.

The avalanche struck at 6:30 p.m., in an area known as the Silver Basin, according to an RCMP news release.

The victim and his three companions were wearing transmitter beacons at the time.

The pattern in these reports? Each has a male human, a mode of transportation that corresponds with one of the three states of water, and an accidental death that's caused by one of the three states of water. God is not about meaning or feelings; He is about patterns.
