The Daily Paul sure thinks so:

Last week was a good week for the so-called “constitutional wing” of the Republican Party, those indomitable Ron Paul people. Okay, sure, the next presidential election is a long way off but a recent snapshot taken by pollsters shows a surprising opening for the Texas congressman, the man who says that the Federal Reserve should be audited. The general public is moving toward Ron Paul, even if most of them don’t even know who he is.

And commenters agree:

Tortoise wins! I always think of this analogy when I think of Dr. Paul's chance at the Presidency. He has been saying the same thing for 30 years and he will eventually triumph.

First of all: This.

Second of all: A Ron Paul run in 2012 would probably do better this time than last time, and it would further divide the Republican Party between the Teabaggers Who Actually Mean It and the Teabaggers Who Are Just Neocons in Disguise. That would be delicious. Run, Ron, run!

Third: I will bet any Ron Paul supporter all of their hidden gold supplies that Ron Paul will not be president in 2012. If Ron Paul does win the presidency, I will give them all of my hidden gold supplies, which I keep in a large bin.
