Sure, okay, we were just complaining about how the eight-bit aesthetic was getting a little played out in games—but then along comes eight-bit Kevin Bacon!

Tremerz is a Flash-game homage to one of the best monster movies of all time (yeah, we said it). You can play the whole thing in about ten minutes, picking up each of the townspeople in a sort of jumpy, wonky conga line—starting with Fred Ward and moving on up to little Mindy on her pogo stick.

This is you. Youre eight-bit Kevin Bacon.
  • This is you. You are a tiny Kevin Bacon.
Our only complaint—well, aside from the fact that it's much easier with a mouse than a trackpad—is that the game is missing the movie's best scene, when a Graboid breaks into Reba McEntire and Michael Gross' basement.

Still, the canonically faithful ending is pretty awesome. You can watch it in a walkthrough if you're a big ol' cheater.
