Two readings today.

Eileen Garvin reads from How to be a Sister: A Love Story with a Twist of Autism, her book about living with an autistic sister, at Elliott Bay Book Company this afternoon.

But the reading of the day is Susan Rich reading at Open Books. The Alchemist's Kitchen is a collection of poems "saturated with color, flavor, texture, and movement." I don't think they mean that literally. You can find much more about the book here.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
