Battle of the Funny Words
On the heels of news that Amazon had
an orgasmic first quarter,
we learn that in March, for the first time ever, Barnes & Noble's
Nook e-reader has outsold the Kindle.
I bet the Nook boost comes from the fact that people can actually play with Nooks at Barnes & Noble stores, whereas the Kindle is just conceptual to most buyers. Unless you know someone who owns a Kindle, you're ordering the device on faith. Amazon is about to start selling Kindles at Target, though, so the race is far from over.
