A concerned parent forwarded this email sent to students at Whitman Middle School in Ballard (emphasis mine):

**To all students: There is no such thing as “butt slap Friday.” So if you think it’s OK to slap someone’s butt, think twice. That is called sexual harassment and there will be serious consequences if you are caught doing it to anyone at school….whether it is Friday, or any other day.

I assume the serious consequences don't include spankings. RIP Butt-Slap Friday. You lived and died in the space of an email.
