I've always believed that my readers should have maximum freedom to use my works in ways that satisfy them. I'd rather they found each other off Facebook, but it's not my place to tell them were they can or can't talk about my books.
This will come up tonight, I bet. Whether you agree with him or not, it's great that he's actually speaking up about this; it's why he's one of the few sci-fi authors who matters.
