More Q13 employees—one current, one former—have gone on the record with The Stranger to say that Q13 colluded with police to suppress coverage of the "beat the Mexican piss out of you" video, Dominic Holden reports in the paper this week. Additionally, the former longtime employee in the Q13 newsroom "says the station got preferential treatment from the Seattle Police Department, while news editors would overlook stories that were unflattering to law enforcement." And the current employee calls the station's official statement about why they sat on the video for three weeks "a total lie." Q13's station manager denies the allegations.
