Not a lot going on for readings tonight.

Alvin J. Ziontz reads at Elliott Bay Book Company tonight. For years, Ziontz "was a front-row participant in some of the most defining legal cases where Native American tribal rights were being argued." He has written a book about that experience.

Deanna Fei reads up at Third Place books tonight. Three generations of women explore China in Fei's novel The Thread of Sky. And in the U District, Lynn Schooler reads from her book at University Book Store. Walking Home: A Traveler in the Alaskan Wildrness, a Journey into the Human Heart is about how Schooler walked along coastlines of America.

If this weather keeps up, it might be a good time for you to stay inside and read the Stieg Larsson book instead.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
