We have two mystery authors reading from books with the word "Justice" in the title all around town today, and a few interesting-looking readings.

Christopher Chabris and Daniel Simons (both of whom have a "Ph.D" after their names) read at University Book Store tonight. The Invisible Gorilla: And Other Ways Our Intuitions Deceive Us is about how you can't believe your brain all the time.

Reverend Jen reads at Elliott Bay Book Company tonight. Live Nude Elf: The Sexperiments of Reverend Jen is a collection of essays about sexual stuff. Look at Reverend Jen's website if you want more information than that; I don't quite understand it myself.

And Laurell K. Hamilton reads at Town Hall tonight. Hamilton writes (allegedly) sexy, sexy books about a vampire hunter who can't keep her hands off of supernatural creatures. She single-handedly launched the romantic horror subgenre, for whatever that's worth to you. She will not be ignored.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here. And if you're planning on staying in and you're looking for personalized book recommendations, feel free to tell me the books you like and ask me what to read next over at Questionland.
