One reading today: Stephen J. Rose reads at Elliott Bay Book Company this afternoon. Now, I'm not an economist or anything, but the title of Rose's new book, Rebound: Why America Will Emerge Stronger from the Financial Crisis, sounds like a whole lot of wishful thinking to me. But I haven't read this book, and maybe he makes a strong case, and maybe you need some wishful thinking this afternoon. If you do, this is the place you should be and the book you should be reading.
