Any day now, the mayor will pick the next chief of the Seattle Police Department. It's among the most (if not the most) influential non-elected post in the city—and whomever is chosen could outlast the current adminstration. Us proles don't get to vote. But if we could vote, who would we choose? These are the candidates (and links to our recent coverage of them): Sacramento chief Rick Braziel, East Palo Alto chief Ron Davis, and Seattle's interim chief John Diaz:

So who's your pick?

As always, you can explain/defend your pick in comments.

UPDATE at 11:52 a.m.: Braziel just withdrew from the running! Cienna has more.
