Colson Whitehead, who I wrote about yesterday, will be reading again tonight, at Third Place Books. If you missed him last night, this is your last chance to see him for a while. You should hear him read.

Paul Rogat Loeb reads at Fremont Place Books, a lovely bookstore I don't write enough about. Loeb's book, Soul of a Citizen: Living with Conviction in Challenging Times, is about how your citizen soul can be nourished or something like that.

Richard Morrison and Chad Mack read at Elliott Bay Book Company today. Seattle Sounders FC Season One is a book about the first season of the popular Seattle "football" team. When I say "football," I mean the no-hands kind, not the dog-fighting kind. Elliott Bay is also hosting a poet tonight.

And University Book Store hosts Bike Snob today. Mr. Snob, who is an "elusive blogger," will read from his new book. This event will benefit Bike Works, which is an organization that does good work. I'll call this the reading of the day.

The full readings calendar, including the next week or so, is here.
