I'm only going to say this one more time: There's a public meeting going on tonight, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Seattle Center's Center House to help decide the fate of the Fun Forest site. Their are many options on the table—a few parks, new digs for KEXP, a Northwest Native Cultural Center, a Northwest Museum of Mysteries, and a Chihuly museum, among others.

Tonight is your only chance to comment on what you want to see developed at the Seattle Center. If you're not sure what that is yet, there's an open house with all the proposers scheduled from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., also at the Center House.

The sun is out, I know. It's supposed to reach a high of 88 degrees today. You want to be outside, not at a public meeting after work.

But too much sun is a bad thing, so here's what you should do: Grab a date, treat them to a delicious meal at Shiki, walk over to the Center House for the public meeting, and then wrap up the evening watching people frolic at the Seattle Center fountain. That way, you'll get an appropriate amount of civic duty to balance out all that sun.
