Seattle's Favorite Plein-Air Painter at WTC
Christopher Martin Hoff, who shows
at Linda Hodges Gallery in Pioneer Square, has been documenting change at the World Trade Center site since 2003. He's creating a body of paintings that will not be for sale, and will be shown at various non-gallery sites after he finishes somewhere around 2013. (The project is supported in part by Artist Trust.) His description of the project, and images of already-finished paintings, are
here. Posted here are two pictures he took of where he's working this week, taken on Sunday, July 11.

- Looks like the final scene of "Fight Club," doesn't it?
