Nikki Finke says Mark Ruffalo is in talks to play Bruce Banner in the upcoming Avengers movie. Ruffalo would be the third actor to play the Hulk's alter ego in ten years, after Eric Bana and Edward Norton. Norton was passed over by Marvel Studios in a snarky press release. He responded to their allegations of grandstanding with a classy message on his Facebook page.

The Hulk, who is currently working as a columnist for this paper, has not commented on the Ruffalo casting issue. He does have some opinions about Belltown, however.
