It's an old (2007) ad campaign for a Dutch charity organisation, "Cordaid Mensen in Nood (People in Need)," but its effectiveness has nothing to do with its intent, presenting a striking contradiction between what Fela Kuti once called "expensive shit" and the poorest of Africans, but the opposite of that intent: a striking and very convincing familiarity that already exists between the "expensive shit" and the dirt-poor Africans.
